A natural gas processing plant is required for most gas streams that are produced from a gas well or an associated oil well. Natural gas in its raw form can contain water, NGL (Natural Gas Liquids), CO2 and H2S.
The natural gas from well heads usually requires processing to remove these contaminates from the gas stream. Gas streams from refinery or other processes require gas processing as well to remove liquids and condition the gas stream for its optimum purpose.

Application of LNG Plant

This unit is applicable to wellhead natural gas pretreatment, including dehydration, hydrocarbon recovery, compression, storage transportation and pressure regulation project, meeting the requirement of skid mounted vehicular design, manufacture, and simple, flexible loading and installation at the well site.
Natural Gas Processing Plant - another step in gas processing is to remove the NGL from a gas stream. To remove the NGLs, the gas is cooled until the NGL condenses.

Process of LNG Plant

After compression, the feed gas is processed by dehydration and heavy hydrocarbon separation units. Please see the attached PFD. Process description is detailed as follows:
  • Feed gas compress unit
After measuring, the feed gas flows into the compress unit, and boosts the pressure to 2.4Mpag, pressurized gas flows into the dehydration unit.

  • Dehydration unit
Pressurized gas flows into the dehydration unit. Dehydration unit adopts isobaric drying process, and consists of dehydrating tower, regenerator heater, regenerator cooler, regenerator gas liquid separator and dry air filter.
After pressurization, the feed gas is divided into two steams by flow regulator. 25% of one steam is used as regeneration gas, after regeneration work, flows back to the entrance and merges with the rest 75%, flows into the dehydrating tower.
